REACH is a European Regulation (Regulation No 1907/2006) started in 2007 to secure the manufacture and use of chemicals in the European industry. This is to identify, assess and control the use of chemicals substances in manufacturing process in European production sites.

A leading force of the ACSIEL - Alliance Electronique has successfully negotiated an extended authorization for the use of chromium hexavalent from 4 to 12 years, as well as extensions for the use of cadmium, black zinc nickel and composite etching. The negotiation period has lasted 4 years, and thanks to our powerful innovation and R&D team, we will be able to phase out the use of these substances without any negative impacts on production.
